The signal

DOVEDUP RADIO takes its cue from the offshore and unlicensed stations of an earlier era: the station ident, the medium-wave carrier, the sense of a signal found rather than advertised. The romance of pirate radio suits a brand built to be discovered naturally rather than promoted.

DOVEDUP and DJ DOVEDUP

DOVEDUP is an underground electronic music brand and the DJ alias DJ DOVEDUP. It is rooted in 1990s UK rave and dance culture, and leans toward deep, progressive, organic and melodic house. The guiding principle is quality over quantity: a handful of records worth keeping rather than a feed to fill. DOVEDUP, DJ DOVEDUP and DOVEDUP RADIO are the same brand, seen from three angles.

While the station is dark

Until DOVEDUP RADIO returns, the dial is handed to Cydicut Radio, a separate station broadcasting since 1989.
